Got out yesterday with my P226 on the action range at TCGC and decided to use the 22LR conversion barrel for a little practice. Till now, I've only used CCI Mini Mags in it, and it has performed really well. As I was now relatively close to the target, decided to run some cheapo stuff through it to see how it performed.
Amazingly, the action cycled perfectly for all but one round that somehow did not eject properly and jammed in the slide as it came back! So, on the scale of good things to buy, I think the conversion kit is pretty high up there. This will make practice on the action range really cheap too....bust through a load of 22 before putting on the 9mm slide and going from there.
Anyone else using the conversion kit?
