Sorry for the late reply. I've been chasing Spring salmon all day. PM seems to be correct in that the stock appears to be cut down from its original form. I was under the impression that the lower stock originally came in two pieces, but after looking at more Youtubes, it looks like it was all one piece. Not sure why the cut down happened, but it is what it is. If still interested, let me know. Thanks.
