What type of lighting do you use to light up a big area, like off a barn for a driveway area? I use high pressure sodium. What about you?

We have the mercury vapor lights. The are a bit noisy, but light everything up real good. Both sides of the barn and both sides of the shop have them. They seem to last forever.

In shtf scenarion lighting would make intruder visible but lighting would also tell everyone for miles around that is not only someone there, but you have power. Just something to think about here
