this is actually a interesting post. I sold a gun to a member of this site, that says he was one of the first to sign up on the forum as a member, and not going to post his name. I had the price of the gun spot on for used and he had first offered a fair chunk less, and then came back after he saw lots of interest and bought it as fast as he could because he knew it was fair, and HE WANTED IT. What he told me was interesting enough for me to start mentally noting..."Alot of the regulars on this board inflate their price knowing that there are enough people that don't know who they are and will either pay the higher price because they don't know or they don't want to buy from a dealer because of NICS or being registered in there name. This was nice to know, not that it helped but kinda added light to when in the past and still I see certain guns for sale on here that I say, "what the **** is wrong with these people, you can buy it new for that." I understand some people may weigh in the fact of no NICS, not registered, maybe no waiting, and even some have other reasons. But what does that say for the people on this site purposely trying to sell something for a inflated price because they can. F&%k the next guy? Well, I'm sorry, I still have morals. I cannot do that. Maybe it's because I believe in God, or maybe because I was raised a certain way. I don't know, I don't look for handouts from anyone, yet I have a inner feeling that I should not try to take advantage of my neighbor for any reason. I sell the used gun for what the actual value is, and still feel I have some room to give. Its been a long time since I have seen a deal on here. Maybe its time to take a break or look for another site to purchase guns.

I feel the EXACT same way. I've always been this way with everything I've sold. Maybe that makes me a socialist but I've never been the bartering type. I think if we all spent less time trying to screw each other out of a few bucks the world would be a better place.

I have an XD .40 with a $50 Galco holster for $395, so I don't think this request is THAT unrealistic.

Okay then. Well I guess you just proved my original point, that I see good deals all the time. Just because it might not be the exact gun he is looking for, doesn't mean there aren't good deals to be had.
