    Watching Our World War. BBC. On Netflix. This is a phenomenal production.

    Heavens. How boring. They we're am webleys and Lugers and lee end fields and mausers in this one. Much more fun

    I find it boring to watch on TV what I can handle in real life. Want fun then come to the machinegun shoot in Albany and shoot some of those old guns in demo. Feel what it was like to carry a Thompson or grease gun. A jap 99 or MP44, the first assault rifle ever made. That is your real history and when you shoot one you will realize what real men that generation was.

    The First World War from Above and Battle of Britain the Real Story were pretty good Documentaries new on Netflix.

    Never knew about how in WWI they tunneled under No man's Land and planted massive explosive mines under Enemy positions.
    Huge Ponds still exist across the Countryside formed from the blast craters.
