Got an offer to go salmon fishing in the ocean. Anyone have a report? I haven't bought a tag yet, so would be nice to hear a report before I commit to the tag and the cost of fuel.

Good to hear a first hand report. Any size to the Coho yet? Herring the bait of choice or are you picking any up with lures?

The report is from a friend that's over there this week all he fishes with is plug cut herring.
It took him and 2 other people 25 coho to catch there limit lot of wild fish 8 to 10 pound fish.

I've had days like that too...and the next day all fin clip. It makes no sense. I don't mind the catch and release provided I get my limit.
