Oregon lawmaker: Remove ban on politicians engaging in duels

    Not all duels were done with pistols and even when they did use pistols, the object was not "shoot to kill" but to defend one's honor.
    Sometimes that meant shooting in the air "throwing away your shot" - in those cases, the other party (if a true gentleman) would follow suit. Most disputes die and no one shoots.
