Like having to pick a gender? How big of a segment of the population is this really an issue for? How much tax money goes into the logistics of this? I assume forms will need to be updated, people will need retrained, let alone the salaries of the people who spent time coming up with and implementing this nonsense, rather than doing the job they were elected to do and solving real issues.

It also is harmful by continuing the assault on the moral fabric of this country. It is indisputable that the best environment for children to grow up in, is the traditional nuclear family. The parts of the country where the rates of this structure is the lowest, are the places where crime is the most rampant. Normalizing and even encouraging deviant behavior makes society worse for all of us.

But I'm a libertarian at heart. Identify as whatever makes you happy, and live your life that way if you choose. Just don't expect the majority to cater to every tiny minority, otherwise pretty soon, the people who identify as klingons will be all upset, etc. Where does it end?
