If you want people other than law abiding citizens and law enforcement to legally carry concealed weapons, we disagree.

Did you just fall out of a liberal tree and smack yourself stupid? When did I ever say that I wanted criminals being able to carry a weapon legally? As it is criminals already carry weapons illegally and no matter how many laws you put in place that isn't going to change that fact. The only people that are hurt by these "gun control" laws are the honest citizens that have to jump thru hoops for no reason except for the state to make more money off of them so that they can excercise their god given rights that are on the Bill of Rights and the laws of the land. That's not the normal "progression" (A pun!), our educational system puts out millions of libtards every year, which is why I'm not at all optimistic about today's vote. The mental midgets who voted for Obama haven't really changed, they just got overwhelmed by the flood of progressive idiocy from him and other libs, and many will, with a confused shake of the head, vote against them today while still believing that socialism is the right way. Higher education is the reason, and higher education teaches the public school teachers, who teach the kids.

I completely agree. I understand why people still think that gun control will keep felons from owning weapons, reason being they didn't think through their argument. They have them anyway, and that's all there is to it.

I am the same person with no criminal background and have had a permit since I was 21. I am now 58. Why do I have to pay money all my life to exercise my god given right? It isn't like a drivers lic where the money has to go for roads. There is no reason other than government theft for us to have to pay for a lifetime to carry a gun.

It will be interesting as the tax and spend kitslobber comes back in with huge taxes to support government. Add to that Bernanke is jumping inflation by 20 % and Oregon is toaste. Stupidity catches up and those who elected the taxers and spenders will pay for their mistakes, but won't admit to them

When inflation hits jobs will be gone.
