Predictions of the next year, what do you believe is going to happen? I am pessimistic on 22lr ammo being on the store shelves at a decent cost. I am optimistic that gun prices will fall due to lower oil prices. Call em as you see emo_O.

Well I have no idea... but I know it always, and will always, work out in the end. :)

Ive been pessimistic since about 2010. I have been "sure" for years now that we were at the end of the rope.

As far as in the bigger picture 4 years is not a lot of time, But its a long time to be so wrong about things. It has cost me dearly financially. At this point I have no faith in the system, I also have no faith that I understand when or how things will happen.

Cheap .22 is a thing of the past, even Walmart has raised thier prices - Bimart is the only place I know of that still sells it at $0.05/round, if you can find it in stock.

Cheap SKS's are about topped out - you can get a decent AK for the same price now which was what most people wanted an SKS for.

Mosins will get scarcer as will the ammo and the price of both will increase.

Used Prices in WA will have to decrease 10-15% to account for taxes and fees, or the temptation to buy across the river or new will overshadow used sales.

AR's will keep getting cheaper as more and more companies compete to sell parts.

Handgun sales and new CCW carriers will continue to rise.

More and more "ready to use" pre-made prepper items will go up for sale.

There's 7. I'll see how I do at the end of next year.

Optimistic that the ideological pendulum will swing back to the middle right in most of the Country. Not the N.W unfortunately:(
Here I am pessimistic or maybe just realistic.

Pessimistic regarding the coming Oregon Legislative session and what they will do to our rights.

Optimistic that we have a group like OFF to help fight for those rights.

And yes, still pessimistic to see .22 ammo on the shelves regularly. I can't remember the last time I actually saw those 100 round boxes of CCI on a shelf anywhere - growing up, they were so common, you'd never imagine a time would come when it wouldn't be available.

And finally, optimistic that the number of gun owners and gun purchases is on the increase. I am hopeful as those numbers increase, it will put more and more pressure on anti-gunners, and strongly limit their impact.

And hopefully optimistic that Bloomberg, Gates, Cuomo, Emanuel, Hickenlooper, Malloy, Feinstein, Obama, Biden and all the other gun-grabbers decide they want to relocate to Australia where they can live in the world they've always hoped for - free from guns in the hands of citizens and a Utopian society with no crime. :s0139:

The old pre-Sandy Hook-panic prices are a thing of the past.

IF .22 returns to normal, availability it'll be at a higher price.

Otherwise, more of the same. No matter who is driving the car, it's still the same corporate-owned, media promoted car.

I'm stealing a line from a radio talk show host, which I agree with. "It'll be business as usual in the apocalypse".

Bloomberg seems to think it does buy eternity. I don't know if you saw the interview earlier this year, but Bloomberg, in a statement of supreme arrogance, stated that he believed using his money to push for gun control would assure him his place in heaven. At some point this tool is going to learn the truth.

Interesting... I guess he knows he's screwed.

I wonder if Matthew 19:21-24 bothers him much? Banning guns isn't gonna cut it.

"TRUE GUN CONTROL" is at 1,000+ yards..... steady..... breath..... squeeze...... feel that recoil......
This must be what TPTB are really afraid of..... and it should point them in the right direction, we the people are supposed to be in control, not the way it is now.o_O

With Reed and Holder gone there's at least a chance for some improvement. Not holding my breath though.;)
