I believe these Optima 2000 red dots were under the Tasco brand but they were made in the UK by/for Firepoint. I guess the UK company went bust and JP bought the rights to manufacture the dots themselves. I can find no technical difference between vintage Optima 2000 and current-production JPoint dots.

I tried but could not find the sight adjustment wheel--I know I have it somewhere, if I find it in the future I will mail it to you. However even with the delineated wheel, zero adjustment on these types of dots is an adjust-fire-adjust procedure. This one comes with a 1913 picatinny mount, though the dot should fit Docter/Fastfire II pattern mounts. The dot is 3.5 MOA. SOLD $100 shipped or $10 less in person SOLD
