Optic mount problem part 2.

I have a model 70 Winchester pre 64 300 HH Magnum. It has a Redfield scope base. Three hole mount (one at the rear, two forward of the chamber). It's meant for Leopold rings. I removed an old optic and replace with a larger optic. Purchased the proper rings. Forward ring is a dovetail. After two or three shots trying to sight in, the rear ring broke. I really don't want to try using this mount for another Leopold style base. What else is available that will fit this 3 hole configuration?

Have you tried looking at Warne's ring/mount finder on their website? Maybe they have a solution.
