Opinions and experiences with Ramshot X-terminator powder for 223 & maybe 308.

I am thinking about picking up some Ramshot X-terminator powder for use in 223 and maybe 308 loads. Anybody here have good or bad experiences with this powder?

Based on this article, it appears that x-terminator powder is very close to AA2230 powder in performance.

I have been told they are one in the same, and the AA2230 has a very good reputation for .223 loads.

Close to same burn rate as H335, WC844, and Ramshot TAC.

I use the above interchangeable along with X-Terminator...all work very well for 223 and 5 56

I wish I would have pulled the trigger before Brownells sold out of 8lb jugs. Price would have been $21 a pound shipped if I had bought two jugs.

Powder valley still has it. $193 for 8 lbs + shipping and hazmat. Powder Valley is good to go.

Xterminator works very well in small case varmint rounds! If settled well a top load fits in a 22 hornet case without compacting the powder. It also made a good 223 round with 36 gr Varmint Grenade bullets! But TAC gave me my best 223 load. DR

Xterminator is excellent in 223 with 40-60 grain bullets.
Im sure it would probably do well in 308 with 140-150 grain bullets
