It would just send your bullets into another dimension trying to hit a target made that shade of nothing.

What does this service run about? I have a very sad looking marlin 336 that would look very good in midnight blue.

For some reason I believe that there would be less criminals on the street if police carried guns that looked exactly like that. And they had a pink coating on packed powder thin jacket rounds. Californians should appreciate not having lead in the mix and not needing to call an ambulance will save fossil fuels, right?

You may have to make a few individual inquiries with some of the other folks at the bottom of the page, for me the biggest section of billable time is surface preparation and disassembly/reassembly which is why I love anything coming in ready for degreasing and the sandblaster. A solid color goes on in a reasonable amount of time, provided everything is salvagable and not pitted I would estimate a lever-action needing a fair amount of attention that includes all surface prep and assembly around $350-400.

My favorite Cerakote color is Titanium Blue, but actual color isn't for everyone. I just think a pop of color on an otherwise black gun is really striking!

I'm prolly the odd one out here, but I LOVE camo on my black guns! For the others, Classic Bolt actions get that wonderful Mirror Polished steel then deep blued, Lever actions get a Colt classic Bluing, and classic shotguns get a two tone bluing! Out side of that, I'm really starting to dig the two tone Sand and black or grey and then there is the StarWars Black and White, looks really awesome, but I don't think I would ever do one up like that, a little two starkers for me!

Of course Bluing , browning and case hardened are my favorite finishes...But some rifles like a a good working bolt action can look very nice in a dark blue , grey or OD green....So there are my votes.
