Just one! I know it would really suck, and it's been beat to death on many an internet gun forum BUT it's still fun to hear what people have to say. Here we go.

Later today the great giant purple gun eating monster from the 13th dimension will be paying us all a visit and will eat all of our handguns but ONE. At least the GPGEM will let us pick which gun he doesn't eat.

What handgun that you currently own would be the one you keep IF you could just keep one?

For me it would be my SIG 226 in 9mm. For me it is just the perfect mix of stopping power, fit, and function.

G22 with the 40-9 conversion barrel and the .22 slide conversion. Lets you shoot so many more rounds and everybody needs to have a .22 on hand.

    Gen 3 Glock 19.

G22 with conversions is a good choice too, but the question was which gun currently owned...

Yes, the .22 conversion is a nice benefit. I have one for my 226 but it was not a consideration in my choice.

Since you didn't say the GPGEM would be taking away accessories. I'd take my AR pistol. Currently it shoots 9mm, 5.56 and .22lr. With future accessory purchases, my "pistol" could shoot 5.7, 6.5,6.8, .40, .45, .50 Beuwolf, etc.,etc.,etc, all the way up to .50 BMG. Try THAT with your Glock.

Yeah, but with a great giant purple gun eating monster running around on the loose wouldn't you want a little more firepower than a 9mm?

I guess it would be my Glock 23 4th gen. It's my carry gun. Has night sights and a trigger job on it.
