Bought this about three years ago. The link below explains the story behind the gun, but, in short, an article in Field and Stream selected the "50 best guns ever made." It was in 2005 I think. Anyway, years later the Heritage Hunting Trust collected examples of each of the 50 to be auctioned off. Ruger provided 50 special edition 10/22's, one for each state. I was lucky enough to win the Oregon rifle. Have all the authentication paper work.
It has been out of the box once to look at, then was put back and the box was vacuum sealed in plastic. Comes with all official documentation, and the issue of the magazine that had the article on the cover (also sealed in plastic).
Cash price is $900 obo, as far as trades go don't really have anything in mind. Let me know what you have and we'll see if there is a deal to be made.
