Looks brand new, what's the round count? Is it LNIB, unfired, or what?
As promised I am answering the questions from Judicator. The complete FAL kit was bought from Gun Parts Guy out of Vancouver in 2006. The DSA receiver was a brand new Type I, I had ordered from DSA back in '05. When I came home in '07 I had Eric Berg of Blackwell Industries build this for me. I then, just recently, had Para Bellum Inc out of Louisville, KY refinish this for me with a custom mix of KG Gun Koat 2400 Gun Blue and a satin black with stainless (faux) highlights. The rifle was test fired when built and then again when it was refinished. The Imbel parts were practically new. I have about 11 Imbel kits and all my barrels gauge out about a "0" or maybe a ".5" with a 762 NATO throat gauge. Anything less than "2" is considered new. The Brazilians shoot more blank ammo than ball and most rifles will not see more than a 100 rds in its entire service life. They are carried hard and maintained with minimum care but they make an excellent build.
Soooo..... the parts kit was from a "used" gun but it must have been issued to a contract officer :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh: as it was hardly used. Anybody in the local area who wishes to make an appointment to verify the condition of this rifle may. This is one of my pride and joys. To whom ever is going to be the new owner I would recommend the purchase of a plastic set of furniture if you wish to shoot it outdoors. It would really suck to scratch the stock on your truck door or a local goober (like Physics Guy, just kidding bud :winkkiss bounce the hand guard off of a post at your range. You do what you want with it, but Iron Wood is just now ramping up to start doing FAL stock sets again after almost a five year break of not doing them.
Hope this answers your questions.
