Did the steel fab work on a ribbon forge for the owner of Oldowan Tools. Took this blade in trade. It's amazing. I had planned to use it for cutting up Elk, but it's too nice and can't bring myself to abuse it.

Specs from builder...He sells for $350
7" Fighter
3/16" 1095
Saber gind w/swedge
Pearl white casted Buckeye
Hidden pins
7" LOC
12" OAL

Trade for......

AR parts
weapon light
long range optics
Vortex optics...strike eagle, sparc 2 etc etc
ammo 5.56 9mm .45

Or $300 cash. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.

That is one gorgeous blade! But I don't see cutting elk as abuse for her, it's what she was born for. A little blood staining would only add character!
GLWS!

Whats the steel and how was it heat treated?
The best kind, and the best way. :D I can ask him if you're seriously interested. I don't know off the top of my head as I'm not a big knife guy. I know he's a professional though, and only does things the right way.
