Old Stevens single shot 12ga

Ive got an old J. Stevens single shot 12ga shotgun. (pics below)

It is mechanically functional, it does need so attention though.

The buttstock is broken and the trigger guard is cracked too.

The trigger guard can be purchased from Numrich for a few bucks.

The finish is worn to a nice patina and the wood is rough, as would be expected on something this old.

My dad gave me one of these for my 10th birthday. The stock had been cut short so that I could reach the trigger. I remember being scared to shoot it everytime we went out. I would always wear a sweatshirt and the biggest coat I could find, to stop some of the recoil. That was rough for a little guy. I loved it. I am smiling thinking about it.

I would like it. the travel is my issue.
Your shotgun is exactly what I have been looking for, but being in Central OR, I'm just to far away for now. Its not a doorstop, its just looking for the right owner.

I'm interested, but mainly for the barrel. I have a Stevens Model 94 12ga, but it has a very short cylinder choke barrel (I think it was sawed off!) and I would like a longer choked barrel for shooting trap. If I could fix this one up, then I'd have two. if not, I've got two barrels for mine

Any chance of you heading towards Eugene/Springfield way? I have a decent rifle scope I may be interested in trading for it if you are.
