I have a Stevens Model 940 single shot 2 3/4" chamber 20 Ga that has seen hard use. The bluing is not bad, but there are a couple of areas of rust near the muzzle, probably caused by prolonged sitting in a gun rack. The finish on the wood has been rubbed off in several locations, but the wood is not damaged. The color-case finish on the receiver is faded and the black paint on the trigger guard is worn off in places. The bore is clean and bright. All these negatives are simply cosmetic, and the piece itself is sound. This would be a great project for a young person to help with, to make a youth shotgun. Asking $75 obo. Need to see an ODL.
