Had to stop and pull a stuck .223 case out of a Die this afternoon.
Nothing like having a 1/4x20 tap, a 1/4" drive 7/16 socket, a 1/4 x20 bolt and a few washers.
You can tell, I've done this before... Probably wont be the last time.
So what do you think causes that case stick? "Old Range Brass"? I do most common handgun loading since 2012, but will most likely load shouldered rounds at some point and need to soak in what ever info there is ya' know. .223 would be the one I'd be loading for sure.
I too have had the fun of using a tap on the base of a stuck cartridge... not from range brass, just because I was too miserly with the lube.... now if I can just find a threaded primer to put into the cartridge, I will be back in business
