Old Pacific press questions

Got an adaptor on it similar to this but a straight shaft with a dimple for the set screw.

I have the pacific magnum and have been loading rifle on it for years. I hand prime with a squeeze primer because I can crank out a bunch of primed cases while watching tv.
I love this press, it's heavy as heck and is very strong. My set screws work fine for the shell holders. I would never get rid of it. I have only seen others on the Internet, never one in person. It sets next to my Hornady progressive. It's a machine!!!!

It sounds stupid but honestly, the snap piece that keeps the rcbs shell holders in place fits into the set screw hole. Puts just enough tension on the holder that it doesn't move around. I was going to have the rams milled but hell. The cheap 1 second shortcut has worked flawlessly for over 2 years.
