Did a quick trip to The Dalles Bargain Center to do a transfer. I liked the place... I am going to make a point of stopping in when I have more time. They had some interesting inventory. I need to explore that place some more....

This would be my LGS. I live less than 1/4 mile away as the crow flies.

Good selection (for a small town), knowledgeable staff.

I bought an inexpensive IWB holster that fits me perfectly. Picked up a .22 cleaning kit as I lost mine decades ago.

FTR, the other local dealer is a Bi-Mart. They have one young fellow that has been extremely helpful as I have come out of retirement, as it were. The other people that I have met at the sporting goods counter had no more current gun knowledge than I have, and far less historical knowledge.

I haven't been in a lot of GSs, but I know when I am being treated well.

Would recommend.
