Sporterized Mosin M44? Bolt doesn't look quite right from that angle, but it definitely looks like a Mosin stock and front sight.

Looks like a Mosin Nagant . 22 trainer...
Those are very cool rifles and great shooters!
Most them that I have seen or shot were Polish , Romanian or East German.

Aha, that would explain why the bolt looks funky.

I think Andy is correct. Looks to maybe be a Polish WZ-48.

We have a winner! Picked this up a week ago from another site out of state. A single shot at about 8 lbs in weight it has pellet gun recoil and about 22 inch barrel with cci quites a pew pew suppressed report.
