Man killed in police shooting after firing rounds from inside Hillsboro condo

No one else was hurt.

Sort of an odd place to have this happen at 1am.

Anyone by that area hear anything? I just got off work and a little later I swore the cops were just going HAM with sirens but I didn't think to check the scanner.
As a reminder, our legislative session is in Feb of this year...

Didn't hear it from my house. "Reporting" was typically subpar.

I live about 1/2 mile from that location. As I am near a major road, 185th, we hear sirens all the time, but nothing specific to this incident.

Radio traffic proved enlightening. The officers originally on scene came under fire they advised further responding units, including fire and medical to come in silent, and stay away from Edgeway Drive. Guy took shots multiple times until he came out and confronted police, who then shot back, killing him.
