Anyone else see this video? Sorry I do not have the link but a co-worker showed it to me yesterday. The guy offers a machined adapter that screws on the the oil filter and then to your barrel. First shot 'drills' the hole in the filter. I still do not know what to think

I think it ruins a perfectly good oil filter.
This adapter has been discussed on here before.
I think the biggest issue discussed was whether you had to register the filter along with the adapter.

The adapter has the serial number on it not the filter

A guy should have one for SHTF scenarios though.

both the adaptor and filter will have the legally required serial number. done as you've
suggested, anyone could simply shoot their filter up, then replace it for $5. not so.

If you are planning on being a post-SHTF renegade then just buy the oil 'catch'. Same thing, not to be used as a suppressor. But if it is Planet of the Apes ..... help yourself.

I was really disappointed that the oil filter is part of the registration. Not for me. Cool idea though.

Threads inside and threads outside.
Any machinist could make it
Fits in your pocket
Never needs to touch your barrel
Unless.........(you fill the rest in)
And as Burt says,if it's POA then who cares?
