QUEENS VILLAGE --
An NYPD officer is in critical condition after being shot in Queens.

The officer was shot around 6:30 p.m. Saturday on the corner of 212th Street and 104th Avenue in Queens Village.

The officer was on duty and in plainclothes when he was shot. He is a five-year veteran of the NYPD.

He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital in a police cruiser.

A male suspect fled the scene, sparking a massive manhunt on foot through the neighborhood.

Mayor Bill de Blasio is on his way to the hospital.

This guy was plain clothes but so soon after Freddie Gray it sounds like the Dec. execution of the two in the squad car after Eric Garner.

The officer was on duty and in plain clothes at the time of the shooting, police sources told CBS2. The officer appeared to be shot in the head and may have been wounded in the face, sources said.

I wonder how long the police will wait to confirm the police officer has died since the assassin is still at large. It seems people are not scared of white bullies anymore. Ambush killings and great amount of hatred for white people. Ugly things are about to happen. Godspeed to the shooter.
