Unless you have time to find the laser on the intended target, and with gunfights lasting such a short period of time...for the most part I've found them to be more of a gimmick accessory.

I don't use them. Lasers fail, and red ones are useless outside. The laser dot to true point of impact is generally crap, even with good quality ones. And forget about more than minute of bad guy.

I bought a CMR-201 because it was BOGO. Honestly, I don't think they really serve much of a purpose. Light is better.
