Oddball question about metal magazines.

I was looking at a Kahr CW9 the other day and I noticed that the magazine follower was pretty sticky. A lot more so than my old Glock 17, Xd, or lc9.

Is there anyway to polish the inside of a magazine without negatively impacting performance? I'm pretty sure it wouldn't do much but just a curious little thought I had.

I don't know that much about Kahr mags but some can disassemble for maintenance and cleaning.

Mags do have a lifespan...

I know that no mag is forever but this was a brand spanking new gun and mag. I'm sure it isn't an issue and it will probably smooth out over time.

The Kahr magazines are pretty polished already.
