Has anyone seen a stock like this on a .22 rifle. It has the Wards Western Field store brand on it
I'm thinking it was made by Mossberg, but it could also be a Savage.
The stock really intrigues me. Any info would be appreciated.

Interesting that the rifle in the OP is what appears to be a tube fed rifle...yet also has a "cocking piece"...a feature usually found on single shot , bolt action .22 rifles.
Which actually "rings a bell " with me...I'll have to hit my books later after school.
Edit to add :
To my eye the stock and bolt handle look like a homemade / home gunsmith job.
Not that , that is a "bad thing" , but it could be important to the rifle's "value".

I don't know, but like most of you older guys, it looks strangely familiar. One of them cute, but ugly guns.

I'm thinking late 50's.

Certainly looks like it was intended for smaller users. Not much in the way of LOP. interesting stock with some gingerbread on it.

The stock can't be original. It looks like a youth sized LOP and is made for a sandbag type target rest.
It comes with the vintage side plate scope rings.
