After some bad behavior, Sam has given police the go to remove them. A lot of them are getting rocks,Gas masks, Boards, Bottles etc. I guess they need a free blogna sandwich and carton of milk at taxpayers expence.

Some pool at Rialtos later around 10:30 then a jaunt up 4th. Life experience and all. My biggest worry for the protestors is that there are agent provocateurs amongst them. PPD isn't known for their restraint, but they'd been pros up to this point.

I'd love to go, but I'd hate to be confused for one of the protesters that hadn't left...

Dress nice and that will be unlikely. Life is too short not to miss a historical event.

I think I'd rather be at a Manchester / United rugby after-game fight. I'll watch it on the telly. There will still be no coherent "message". You can bet there are agitators in the crowd. Make some popcorn and crack a cold brew!

I don't think the Police will move in at Midnight because that's when the occupunks will be all fired up and ready. A more likely tactic would be to wait until they aren't jacked up like 2 or 3 in the morning or Sunday morning. I do know that the Police have cancelled days off and they are pulling 12 hour shifts. I was hoping it would be on T.V..

Good observation Marty! They'll probably just ask those that are willing to leave to do so at midnight. Then go in at 4am with billy clubs and tasers at 4am when there are less witnesses. Lotus Cafe is open tonight, right on the corner! 80s/90s night! lol

I believe at least one of the local news stations is planning on broadcasting it live.

There are no "Innocent by standers in a battle". (If it comes to that)

The Police aren't going to look for your "Good Guy" badge if cr*p starts flying.:paranoid:
Do yourself a favor and watch it on TV at home.;)

I have to agree with this guy.

When you really think about it, what's happening here is a group of people are forming to go watch the police disband any and all groups of people and kick them out of the area.

Portland wouldn't be in this situation and the Police wouldn't need to put their lives at risk if the city had a functioning mayor. Adams is without a doubt the worst thing that has ever happened to PDX.

I have to agree. Anything that may happen I would blame on the mayor.
