Last night I went to a wine tasting event at Morton's Steakhouse in Seattle. Justin winery out of Paso Robles did a vertical tasting of their Isosceles. Everyone there was treated to at least a bottle of their best and then was the mini crab cakes and filet sandwiches.
My mistake was having a Manhattan afterwards and then when I got home my son was here and I couldn't let him drink alone so I had another Manhattan...:confused:
I woke up at 6 and my head was pounding so 3 Excedrin, a bottle of water and back to bed. Got up at 7:30 and took 3 tylenol and another bottle of water....

What's your famous hangover cure? God knows I need it.

Next step, hair of the dog..............

Water and more water, other than that the best cure I found was not drinking! Hair of the dog does help with a nap afterwards.

I consider myself lucky, my hangovers have actually lessened dramatically over the years.

Biggest thing I try to do is drink lots of water while drinking. If I'm not feeling well in the morning my go to is usually the greasiest food I can find, preferably a burrito or chicken fried steak. If that doesn't work (and it's an option), hair of the dog!

I can mix beer and spirits just fine, but one glass of wine with either and it's almost a guaranteed hangover.

Usually after a couple drinks start drinking a glass of water in between alcoholic drinks.
Take a couple ibuprofen before you go to bed.
When you get up drink gatorade or powerade to rehydrate. Or pedialyte.

Eat something greasy and delicious. Something with bacon.

I always have been good knowing my limit, and probably more so fearing that hangover.
I stick to less than four drinks and don't do hard A.

Yup. If you're going to feel like shyte, may as well feel good doing so!!

It takes balls to start drinking again when hungover but it really does work. Of course doing this is taking your first steps to a real problem so only go this route when you really need to... be careful ;)

If your hangovers are getting fewer and farther apart and you're still drinking at LEAST what used to give you one... you're approaching the "pickled zone".

The next evolution is getting that "boozer nose" that winds up looking like a piece broken off a coral reef glued onto your face. o_O

    (FYI- NOT my nose :p)

A good dose of "high stress B&C" vitamin. The ones I use are from an outfit called Source naturals. They almost work as good as the old welder's trick of a few good pulls of pure 02 in the welder's hood.

First thing, do NOT take Tylenol or exedrin!!! It reacts to the alcohol and does many times the damage to your liver then drinking will...

Second, skip the water and go buy some pedialite from the baby section at a grocery store. I drink half a quart before I go drinking and finish the other half before bed. Most of the time I don't need another quart in the morning but it sounds like you do;).

Pedialite has a ton of electrolites, way better then Gatorade. That's what you need to replace, not just the H2O.

Yerp....those painful symptoms are just your body trying to rid itself of toxin, AKA 'poison'....leave the toxin out, and never have to suffer those pesky symptoms again!!! ;):rolleyes:o_O:):D
