I am surrounded by water. It amazing how people can spend stupid money on sending troops to Africa but look the other way for years at radical Islam. BHO hasn't done much right so he'll screw this up.

Brutus out
I believe he has done everything "right"
His goal is the physical destruction of America and he has 2 more years, the man is right on schedule.

BREAKING: Obama Uses Bush and Reagan To Attack Syria – USS Reagan (Carrier) and USS Bush (Cruiser/Destroyer) And Others Launch Tomahawk Cruise Missiles…
Posted on September 22, 2014 by sundance
breaking-news.jpg?w=640 The Pentagon is announcing U.S. Tomahawk missiles are being launched from U.S. combat vessels to strike ISIS targets in Syria.
A group of coalition fighter jets (fighter and bomber units) may also participate. Initial reports did not indicate U.S. airplanes are involved, however there are some contradictions. It is being reported that 25 initial targets are being announced.
Bombers, drones, missiles and fully equipped F-18 fighter bombers. The UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia are also reported to be participating

He wanted enough to take every day for the next year. Not if and when he got sick. He wants enough for his whole family, like thousands of pills.

I take any of the flouroquinolones and whether it solves the problem or not, my digestive tract is PISSED at me for the next month. Given the published list of potential side-effects, part of me wonders if you should have issued the script to remove anyone this foolish from the gene pool.

Im not an infectious disease specialist so I wont be able to give you the specific type of safety gear to have. It is transmitted though mucous membranes (eyes, mouth, nose) and cuts in the skin. It can be spread then by droplets (someone coughing or sneezing right in your face) or by blood spatter.

If the person is sitting across the room from you and you have no contact there isnt going to be spread. Similar to how colds spread.

The biggest fear I have is the ability to spread via contaminated surfaces. Without following someone around with a hudson sprayer full of ethylene oxide and bleach this could be a difficult problem especially use a keyboard at a library or coffee shop, touch your eyes without first disinfecting yourself, get ebola. No thanks! I also worry about the common fecal-oral route that kills so many people with food poisoning every year.

I've read the WHO, CDC and nearly every other pamphlet I've found, most of them give the common "wash your hands, cover your face, etc etc" advice everyone gets in grade-school. The lack of specifics indicates to me that these are unknown to them. Given the number of doctors who have been infected; while I realize the environment they operate in is austere, are the protocols advocated really up to where they should be? Did the doctor get infected as a result of a breach of protocol caused by working in a 120 degree tent, or did he get it when he touched the hand railing in the hall and then adjusted his glasses.

Again:
This is a threat to the troops and to everyone in America.
Virus mutating into airborne spreading pandemic.
My feeling is he is doing this deliberately.
He has nearly destroyed our military, opened our borders
to disease, and when it did not come fast enough, he helped it along.
TB from the South, Ebola from across the Ocean.
He won't quit unless he is stopped by our Congress and Senate or our Military..
OR....by a means not yet revealed. Many will ignore it until it lands in their
children and relatives and friends. Lets hope it is not too late at that point.
With disease, there IS a point of no return.
Ebola is expected to mutate into an airborne virus.
Now how could they know that unless they created it.

Well read "The Hot Zone" years ago, just has the potential to be catastrophic. But I also think things have to get a lot crazier before I will panic and saran wrap the house clear.png .
On a serious note I was in New Orleans in 2006 post Katrina a few times and it did not take much to push resources to unavailable. Learned a lot about humanity without power/water/food and what you have is all you get. Disruption of supply/fuel/etc from people not being able to get to work or sick could be a huge issue, our economy is based on "just in time."
The more complex a system the easier it is to run a muck.

There will always be unknowns. But it is good to see (as far as I know) none of the cases where they brought the person back to the US to treat had spread to the hospital staff. It tells me that spreads to doctors in Africa are because of inadequate protection and facilities over there. Plus it looks like malaria when you first get it. Probably very difficult for them to stay in full protective gear all the time even if they had it

There is no indication it spreads through intact skin. Its touching a patient or soiled surface and then toughing your mouth or eyes is going to be a big risk though

Im not saying we should be lax with our concerns and preparedness. We have to find a good ground somewhere between licking everyone that walks by and shooting everyone that approaches your home.

Here's the thing, Obama is known for NOT saluting the flag for standing with both arms down when everyone else is saluting the flag, of happily giving the communist salute. So when left handed Obama descends the steps from Helo One completely ill prepared to return a salute and then salutes WTH is going on?

If I saluted a marine as a civilian I'd expect the marine to punch me in the face for not earning the right to salute someone in the military. Civilians should not salute.

what I mean by focusing on silly things is that the media rolls with the crappy solute, everyone on the forums jumps on the hate, and in the mean time the behind the scenes undermining continues.

How about we have a thread of Operation Choke Point? The administration's pressure on credit cards and banks to refuse working with certain things the administration does not like (such as firearm sales). We are already having to pay extra when we buy anything that is firearm related because the credit card fees are so high for firearm businesses. But soon we wont be able to buy anything firearm related with a credit card because of the pressure from this administration.

So just use cash right? Hard to do online and if you get caught with cash in your car, your donating it to the police under civil and asset forfeiture laws.

Yeah, I dont give a crap how he salutes.

Remember he is the CIVILIAN LEADER, he is not, nor has ever been military. Even if you were to take his position as the CiC into account, he's not in uniform.

According to VMI here are their saluting rules which mirror the military rules:

  1. Engaged in work if the salute would interfere.
  2. Indoors, except when reporting to a senior or when on duty as a sentinel or guard.
  3. Carrying articles with both hands or being so occupied as to make saluting impractical. Carrying a coffee cup or soda can in one hand does not qualify. An armload of books, however, does. At VMI, it is customary to halt, come to attention, and offer a verbal greeting if a hand salute cannot be executed.
  4. When saluting is obviously inappropriate.

What's ham-handed about this, is he returned the salute badly. This is one of the world's biggest nontroversies, If you want to get bent about other gaffes he's made there's always bowing to the saudi king... And this is to make no mention of joe biden.

The only one he never bowed to was the American PPL, his boss
