I know no (not there are some) one who supported any president's support for more layered gun control, and more gun control in general.

It's a fairly simple point that I wrongly assumed wouldn't be lost on the simple.

That said, crying over a ban that largely is symbolic in nature and doesn't impact the majority of firearms that what most (here) prefer is silly. Look at the posts here and the majority (well over 50%) prefer battle rifles, exotics, and current mil-type weapons. The 89 ban went a lot further than anything Obama has done.

Or is this more about you feeling that one of "those people" is getting a little uppity toward your killin' irons?

I don't care whether you like Obama or not. Singling out the reversal of importing a bunch of Korean surplus weapons doesn't "make the point Obama is 100% anti-gun" I do. I have a problem with blatant retardation of generalizations such as the ones you and others are making.

The administration reversed a decision to allow the import. That's not a ban, that's a political decision that probably had more to do with Korean government dealings than we see. Stuff happens all the time.

No one except people looking for something to bubblegum about care about this, and that includes the majority of gun owners. And pretending you're "looking out for everyone" is crap because you just want to excuse to whine from under your tinfoil hat. If you want to hate on the administration, there are plenty of things to pick on that most people would agree with you on - including myself.

I think they'll go after ammo, dubbing a 500-2000% tax increase.. perhaps more.. And making you do a registered box count, so many boxes of ammo per month..per store..etc.. No more online sales..
We may have our "Evil Black Rifles"..but they're nothing without ammo. Perhaps just really cool clubs? Far too many people went out and purchased the rifles.. but not necessarily enough ammo.. who's really got 5-10 years worth of ammo?

Agreed, not to delve into politics but voting for either party, but I do vote often.. Politicians, they are all still kiss'asses..
But most, if they're in that "clique" vote for some leftest ideas.. and leave us wondering..WHY?! Old Blood Republics can sometimes be just as bad as Democrats. (I'm Conservative)
We need some new blood with fresh ideas (Tea Party?)..
NOT SOCIALIST Ideals and "Utopias" (Like We've got now),
I mean ideas such as cutting back to 1996 budgets versus the:
