The Oregon Arms Collector show is this weekend. It's the big two day show. Lots of great displays and maybe even a good deal or two. This is my favorite show of the year:

I went today and was happy to see nothing but vintage and collectable firearms and accessories. Prices, as always, were on the high side, so I didnt come out with anything. A dude did buy a Series 31 Toyo Kogyo arisaka for $1100 but it was the finest condition type 99 I had ever seen. If I didn't already have a really good series 31, I probably would have bought it myself. My biggest regret is not having bought one of the many random Colt single action Army 'cowboy' guns I ran across 20 years ago... Those things have really increased in price. Lugers, in contrast, were always pretty expensive and still are. I have neither, and probably never will, and that's sad.​
