I will be heading down to Las Vegas end of this month for Viva Las Vegas. I was thinking about trying to get the training required for a NV non-resident concealed carry permit. Does anyone have any recommendations for getting this training/qualification?

    Thanks

Get an Arizona CWP. Nevada honors them. Otherwise, find an instructor in NV that offers recognized live fire courses.

Remember the cities and counties in Nevada can make their own gun laws.
On either Open carry .org or Conceal carry,it shews that North Las Vegas has very strict gun laws.
So even with a AZ permit you need to look up the NV laws

Looks like it's gray if the local laws are legal. Didn't look into their application to people who could legally carry a concealed weapon or if there was any case law after this was written being I'm on my phone.

Shot Show?! How do they get all those guns into the hotels?

If you are concerned, contact a lawyer -there. You don't want no trouble with jonny-law.
