Hello! So I just inherited a browning hi-power 9mm from my father. He has Alzheimer's and it is no longer safe for him to have access to firearms.
Anyway, I identified it as manufactured in 1969 by the serial number, but it has a second number etched on it and I've no idea what this means or what it would be for. I believe it is his old service weapon. Anyone know what's up with it?
