Montana: Campus Carry Bill to Receive a Vote on the Senate Floor TOMORROW
Tomorrow, Senate Bill 143 is scheduled for second reading in the Montana Senate. Sponsored by Senator Cary Smith (R-27), SB 143 would prohibit any restriction on firearms on university property.

Yesterday, the Nevada Legislature began its 2015 session with the introduction of Assembly Bill 2. The Assembly Judiciary Committee will be considering Assembly Bill 2 tomorrow, February 4, at 8:00 a.m. in Room 3138 of the State Capitol.

Vermont: Anti-Gun Bill to be Considered in Committee Next Tuesday
Next Tuesday, February 10, the Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to hear Senate Bill 31, sponsored by state Senator John Campbell (D-15). SB 31 seeks to impose restrictions on the private transfer of firearms and will do nothing to keep guns out of the hands of criminals.

Michigan: Legislation to Eliminate County Gun Boards Passes Senate and Heads to House for Consideration
Today, Senate Bills 34 and 35 passed through the Senate by an overwhelming 28-9 vote margin. These two bills have been received by the House and assigned to the House Judiciary Committee where they are expected to be considered for a hearing on February 10.

New Hampshire: Concealed Carry Reform Bill Heads to Senate Floor
Today, the Senate Judiciary Committee passed an NRA-backed concealed carry reform bill, Senate Bill 116, by a 3-1 vote. SB 116 will now head to the Senate floor for an expected vote next week.
