You just know that there'll be a few who loudly will say Trump's former political affiliation is very important, and being a NYer is key, that he said "take guns away, due process later,", and started bumpstock ban

Well, Kamala say she and her running mate both own guns. Surely not weapons of war, meant only to kill masses of people, but just normal guns. The ones meant to kill small numbers of people and only those over 21 that aren't students or peaceful protestors.

She also told Oprah, "anyone breaking into her house is getting shot". Then she laughed like a maniac (actually, she did).

I don't think that this site has any actual "anti-gun" members. But as far as firearm owners in general, there are plenty who believe in gun control, some would even be willing to forfeit everyone's 2nd Amendment rights, if it served their purpose. You will find that many of those same people tend to have a similar attitude towards our other Constitutional rights, such as the 1st Amendment.
The linked article in your OP was relevant and timely regarding our 2nd Amendment rights, and I find it a bit unusual for anyone on a firearms forum questioning that you posted it. Don't give up, keep posting, and stay within the rules. And remember, sunlight is the best disinfectant.

Thank you. I agree with all of that except I think those who vote for antis are no different than antis when all is said and done. Bottom line is we lose our rights.

So I got this 16" Compass Lake-spun Douglas barrel that I am about to build out into a recon style uppper. It will wear either a Hodge or Geissele rail, both of which extend beyond the gas block. Should I pin the gas block? Just Loctite it? Assuming accuracy and robustness are weighted equally.

And should I go for an LVPO or a Nightforce 2.5-10x plus offset ACRO?
