I confess to skipping over lots of posts so my opinion might be redundant.
Anyway...it is absolutely clear that the NRA cannot be reformed from within. And all candidates for the Board have been vetted by WLP's nominating committee.
Unless WLP has a coronary real soon, this once proud institution will be dragged thru the mud and officers imprisoned.

One can only hope. I thought for sure that there was no way that WLP would take the entire organization down with him, but that does look like what he's going to do.

Rock Marshall and Frank Tait were both fighters, hence their purging. Sounds like a big chunk of why Duane Liptak (aka Mr. Magpul) swiftly exited too, IIRC.

There have been others, but they quickly tire of crashing their lances into the windmills.

The question is who to vote for to achieve this result.
If been a NAR Life member since the late 70's, but once the LaPierre cabal took control, I can't find it within myself financially support them.

Many have given up on the NRA, but if you are a voting member and still want to try to effect change, the best bet is to get some reformers elected to the Board. The current nominating committee will only put forth names of those that won't make waves or try to upset the Wayne LaPierre...

There will be four reform candidates on the ballot when you receive it around late winter/early spring 2024. Make sure you vote ONLY for the four reformers and don't give anyone else a vote.
