Wife bought e a 20" cast iron wok for my Birthday. Hard to find a good sized wok. 14" is all the stores carry and thats too small for stir frying fried rice. 20"? Yeah, thats not too small.

when I retired, I purchased a Chinese carbon steel 13" Wok from Yosukata, flat bottomed like yours for our electric stove
cooks like cast iron, but only weighs 3.5 lbs
our family does most of our cooking in this Wok, including fried eggs for breakfast
even made Asian chicken noodle soup in it last evening
you must have a larger family, I can cook Asian fried rice for 3 in this 13" model
and at 13", we can run pans on the other 3 burners and still run the Wok
I have old Wagner cast iron pans up to 14", but they are heavy as all get out
we have switched from cast iron to carbon steel due to my wife carpultunnel
I'm sure you will enjoy your Wok as much as we do

this is my receipt for Asian chicken noodle soup in a wok - you just have to adj for your larger wok

took a chicken carcass from Thanksgiving - pressure cooked it for 1.5 hours to get a soup stock
strained out all bones
mixed the stock with water to make 4 cups
pounded chicken breast and seared in olive oil in the Wok
put chicken aside and sautéed mushrooms, carrots, celery, a full onion, 4 cloves garlic in Wok
pored the chicken stock into the wok, slice up chicken and add to wok
add sesame oil, Tamari sauce, Rice vinegar, Sriracha and a little brown sugar
cover and cook for 30 min

add Asian noodles directly to the soup and boil for 3 min

if you cook with a Wok, you must enjoy your time in the kitchen as much as I do

We use the carbon steel woks in our home too.

You can get them at 99 Ranch or H-Mart.

It's the most popular type in China, too.

I generally cook for 2-3 days worth of food a lot of times. Fried rice especially takes up a lot of volume and I like to be able to move it around in the pan. 14" doesn't cut it for essentially cooking g for 10 .

my son and I often cook at the same time, thus stove top space is important to us

I chose the 13" for just that reason

we can get our Lodge 14" carbon steel skillet and the Wok on the stove at the same time
