This thread is a little bit tongue-in-cheek, because I really don't need any more .38 Special ammo, but I found something interesting while sorting through some brass I got a while back.

Large pistol primers are a little bit easier to find than small pistol right now, so this old brass could come in handy. :)

Apparently out of the '50s-early '60s. I found ONE single Peter's brass in my collection of used .38 I bought when I started reloading in 2011.

They must not have made many millions of rounds of it or more of it would have snuck in our brass collections. It does throw you a curve ball when you're priming while watching TV .
