Every November 19th we are reminded to support the shooting industry by buying 100 rounds or more of ammunition. The idea is to help the gun industry, the local gun shops and put more ammunition in the hands of private citizens.

This year you may actually find some ammo on the shelves!

Thanks. When is the national shot ammo day? November 20th? Not that I need a specific day to deplete my stock pile.

Just in time!
I was scoping-out Cabelas this afternoon looking for pre-Black Friday specials and saw a ton of ammo on the shelves. They've got so much 22LR - from all manufacturers - that they've created an entire island of it adjacent to the handgun cases.

Not for me. At least not yet. This year Nov. 19 happened to be on the 3rd Saturday of the month. That is the day for the monthly full auto shoot at ARPC, so today was a shoot lots of ammo day for me.

I guess I'll have to order more to replace what I shot, and then a little more just in case.
