I will be there on Thursday. Word on the street is that hearings on these bills have been postponed for a week or two, but I'll be there just in case.

• SB 347 – Removes the exemption for Concealed Handgun License (CHL) holders to carry a firearm on K-12 school grounds.
Because only people with CHL's shoot up schools
• SB 700 – Requires criminal background checks on all gun purchases and transactions except those between immediate family members.
Criminal backround checks for people that brake into houses and steel guns
• SB 699 – Removes the exemption for CHL holders to carry a firearm in the Capitol Building unless given written permission by Legislative Administration.
So according to them, they think that background checks will stop gun violence... so what is the point in prohibiting people to carry guns anywhere????? Every one that has a gun got it leagaly and will follow all the laws....... And why is it just CHL's I would think they would be allowed to carry sine they not only went through a BRC to get the gun, but another one to get the CHL!!!!!

Yes, all you have to do to qualify, hit a penny sized target at 150 yards with a .38

They meet every day of the week, usually at 0830. House Judiciary meets in the afternoon at 1300. They don't hear the same bills at the same time.
