Explosive admission, new allegations in Operation Fast & Furious

The Los Angeles Times is reporting today that the Drug Enforcement Administration chief admitted her agency provided a “supporting role” in Operation Fast and Furious, while Fox News has uncovered a court document alleging the U.S. government “allegedly cut a deal” with the Sinaloa drug cartel that included helping finance and arm the cartel through Fast and Furious.

Is press working fast and furiously to deflect blame for botched gun sting?

Readers of yesterday’s edition of USA Today were treated to an editorial, a rebuttal by National Rifle Association Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre and a “hard news” story that, taken all together, make it appear that the newspaper’s editorial board either doesn’t “get it” about Operation Fast and Furious, or they are feverishly trying to deflect responsibility.

U.S. Attorney in Phoenix adds insult to injury of slain agent’s family

United States Attorney Dennis Burke, a key figure in the Operation Fast and Furious scandal that exploded following the December 2010 murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry has filed a motion opposing the Terry family’s requested intervention as “crime victims” in the criminal case against alleged gun trafficker Jaime Avila.

He's not a crime victim...he's a war victim. This is a war in the boarders. The feds knew this and tried to take advantage of it by throwing more gas on the flames by letting the guns "walk" so that they could do the very thing they are doing....comprise a back-door gun registration in the guise of "safety" and "security".
