I'm not available this weekend myself. I don't see any huge rush to get this done- just when the opportunity avails itself.

Edited to add: I can't believe I didn't say this in the first place, but congratulations on the family addition!

Got up there at the crack of dawn, lane 3 and 4 were already full, so we headed out. But took a few pics before I left. 20190113_072627.jpg 20190113_071836.jpg 20190113_071808.jpg

I'm glad I decided to bypass the lanes and go up the road to Bryan's favorite spot. Had it to myself for over three hours. Beautiful morning to get out to 100 yards.

You forgot the golf cart for setting up targets!

No need to walk or ride that far out there if they are permanently embedded! Just show up and shoot! Only a trail to the first 100 & 150 yard platforms. Permanent steel after that! That's the direction we're thinking.

I was actually really up there to test out some first batches of hand loads. The .223 I loaded performed at 100 yards as well as the American Eagle I used to set a bench mark, both not that great due to only having a 3 moa red dot, if I understand it correctly that's like a 3" 'red out' of my target, the center of which is about a 3" red circle; but what can you do. I also tested out on the steel target my first batch of .45 ACP and second batch of 9mm. But the real performers were my first batch in .308 Win. The targets below are at 100 yards with an 16" barrelled LR-10.
