Owned this thing for over 20 years I think. Shoots very well. Probably only shot around 500 rounds through it.

Come with the magazines in the pic. 30, 10, & 5 rounders are metal. The drum is a 70 round russian model if I remember correctly and works perfectly. Very nice gun.

The drum looks to be 75 rounds and is a backloader. Could be Chinese, Bulgarian, Romanian, or even Korean!

Just opened it up and counted 73 rounds so you are probably right. And Romanian is possible, but I can't find any markings or stamps inside or out. I also meant to mention that there are markings that look to have been stenciled out on the left side of the receiver. No markings that say sporter on it. My guess is it was here or on its way when the assault weapons ban passed and they had to modify it.

I think this one was a type 56 that was like you said, caught up in all the BS early 90's. This is a nice one and a good deal at today's prices. Post a better picture of the left side of the receiver where they scrubbed it and remarked it.The Hammer with also tell a story. These are some of the best. Only a very few are better. GLWS bro. Its priced to sell for sure.
