Noob in Southern Oregon

Hey everyone. I just moved up to Ashland from Cali back in october of '08. Stumbled across the link for this site on the Oregon Firearms Federation site while researching Oregon gun laws...

It's a whole different world up here when it comes to firearms! So I'm looking to learn whatever I can and possibly meet others into the same stuff.

Yeah, I stepped inside a pawn shop and was surprised by what was available! They told me I need an Oregon Id to get anything though, and to get an Oregon ID, I'd have to turn in my Cali drivers license..which is kinda lame.

Well if this poor guy wasn't in the Socialist Repulik of Oregon (one of the worst places in our fair state) he would be in a better place... I just hope this poor guy isn't in Ashland proper

Um.... of course you have to change your ID. Same as everywhere (I think.)

Yeah, but to change it means I'd have to take the drivers test all over and thats just a pain in the butt. I'm up here for school, and to be near my family who lives in the K Falls area.
