Just google 6.5 Grendel and you will get all the info you want. Basically an upper might run you $800 and ammo is anywhere from $14 to $30 for a box of 20.
I had thought of going with a 6.5 Grendel upper but I don't shoot that much so I never got one. It is a good round though, better IMHO than the 6.8 SPC.
thy're expensive, and expensive to shoot. better alternative, if you want a bigger/heavier round, would be a 7.62x39 conversion. they're cheaper, more widely available, and ammo is cheap
