We had some issues with battery power in one of our Prius', while they can run without a 12v battery and with a bad 12v battery due to their inverter, starting one without having any power is an issue. I had to pull my 12v 8Ah fish finder battery from the Kayak to energize the wife's car to get it to start.

I ordered two 1000A. One for each Prius. I've always been leery of jumping somebody with our cars, never really wanted to due to their sensitive electronic nature and tiny 12v batter (425CCA).
